It's annual canada time. This is my second time in Toronto and the first time i had one of the best meals of my life. Well, last night we had an even better meal! Opus, like the review said, is a work of art… several in fact, as every dish presented was beautifully presented and tasted even better: caviar & vodka, chianti, corn & lobster bisque, seared ahi, and muscovy duck with foie gras.

Our first film here was the world premier (30 minutes before Venice) of Kenneth Branagh’s Magic Flute. Imaginative, lush, and excellent in every way. Funny too. If you think you don’t like opera, give this a try. The new English libretto is sung perfectly, not a single word dropped and very easy to follow.
