Today we slept in... I've been travelling now for nearly two months solid, so it was nice to get the full 8 hours finally. we discovered a great cafe near the hotel called Il Mercurio that has excellent coffee and croissants. Then we went to see another Romanian film, How I Spent the End of the World. Also about the revolution, but showing the time leading up to it instead through the lives of a brother and sister. Their plans for escaping foreshadow the ultimate outcome after ceausescu’s fall. Another excellent Eastern European film, with great performances by young actors.
