i can't believe i started watching this show, but i think what drew me in was watching the designers sewing their outfits... it reminds of when Ronnie & I used to sew clothes in high school! so drawn in was i after the couture episode that even though the two most annoying designers came back on the next episode (angela & vincent), i still enjoyed the competition and was relieved to see vincent made up for hot-glueing his couture dress by actually sewing his b/w cocktail dress. nonetheless, glad to see them go. and frustrated that the week after that was only reruns... so this week, i made myself sit in front of the tv at exactly 9 pm, ignored phone calls and replayed the lines i missed while smsing. only to be disappointed in the same way that Manolo the shoeblogger was… who, as usual, was spot on in his analysis: “Of the course, this decision, to end in the giant group hug, it undermines the point of the show, which is the fierce competition.”

indeed, the best part of last night’s show was the previews for next week’s reunion: “Perhaps the return of the dangerously egomaniacal Keith can provide some true amusement.”
