Sundays are a busy day in our neighborhood. Lots of churches. And today being Easter, everyone who claims to go to church actually does. People who don’t live in our neighborhood drive and park here to go the churches on our street. But our neighbors, who are Mormon, drive elsewhere to go to church. And then when they come home with their sleeping children, they seem to think it’s ok to park in our driveway if there’s no other space on the street. They don’t have a driveway. They also don’t have a door bell and they keep the gate outside their front lawn locked. So there is no way to let them know that we need to get in or out of our driveway. So we yell at their house until they finally come out and tell us “ohh.. sorry…” and interrupt their easter dinner so they can move their car.

They’re not the only ones who do it though. A few months ago the pastor of one of the nearby churches had parked in our driveway too. Do christians think they have some sort of parking indulgence on sundays?
